In sales we need to learn to avoid using the F word. Never say, “I’m just Following up with you.”
The F word makes you sound desperate and puts the prospect in control thinking you are chasing them.
When trying to reconnect with someone that you have not heard from in a while or who has not replied to your recent outreach, it’s better to say, “I finally found some time to get back to you….” and continue the conversation from there.
This sounds casual and professional. It also makes you sound in demand. A subtle change in language can earn you valuable respect and relationships.
Never use the F word.
Thank you @babaraskary for the great sales tip.
